Is it possible to have everything under control? Can we predict and prevent every possible shift? It would seem so, from the large to the small. That’s what the Schweizer Reduit, the bunkers, the iodine pills seem to suggest.

Daily life is, in part, shaped by this peculiar control of the future, from the macro to the micro scale, through different forms and measures, some more intrusive, others more discreet.

But is this really enough to make us feel safe? Is control, after all, what we most desire? Or might there be another way, not to feel helpless before events, but to inhabit them differently?

Morgen    Tomorrow, that future which worries us and which we would like to be able to control.

Morgen    The morning, that moment in daily life when everything begins again.
